Born in Mexico (1970), imigrated to Israel in 1997. Adrian began playing the violin at an early age, quickly winning numerous competitions. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree with Zvi Zeitlin at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, and Masters Degree from the prestigious Pinchas Zukerman Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music. He is a first prize winner of the coveted Henryk Szeryng International Competition and the Mozart medal granted by Domecq Cultutral Institution. Justus won the Artist International Award 2002, and preformed at the Carnegie Hall in New York. At the Barbican Center, London ,he gave a recital as part of the Janacek Festival. He performed in the main concert halls of Japan, London, Prague, Mexico City and Tel Aviv. Justus performed as soloist with the Kyoto Symphony in Japan, the Sinfonica del Estado de Mexico, the Filarmonica de Jalisco in Guadalajara, the Prague Festival Orchestra and the London Philarmonia Orchestra. With the latter he recorded the Sibelius violin concerto in a Carlton Classics release. Currently Justus is the leading member of the Israel Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra. He also studied composition, having written several works for violin. |

Born in Israel (1976). Rinat began playing the contrabass at the age of 14 with Michael Klingopher. She graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts and obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the Hebrew University and the Music Academy of Jerusalem. Rinat’s military service was as an outstanding musician in the Chamber ensemble of the Education Corps of the Israeli Defense Force. At the beginning of her career, Rinat played with the Youth Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, The Nations Philharmonic Orchestra among others. Avisar won the Zvi Rothenberg Strings contest, the Braun-Roger-Zigel contest in Jerusalem and the America-Israel Cultural Fund scholarship in 1993. She got her Masters degree in Berlin at the UDK, with Prof. Michel Wolf. During her stay in Germany she played with the Deutcher Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Orchestra of Hamburg (Nord Deutcher Rundfunk Orchester) and in Chamber Ensembles of ‘Vila Musica’. Avisar gave recitals in Berlin and Israel and participated in international festivals in Zwitzerland, England, Germany and the USA. Currently she is the principal contrabassist in the Israel Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, is a member of the Tel Aviv Soloist Ensemble and the Tel Aviv Art Ensemble. |

Born in Canada (1979). Son of an Argentinean, Shalev entered the music world by studying bass-guitar with Giora Pekel at the age of 16. Amijai Played with different groups and was one of the founders of the “Spectrum” group that performed his compositions which have a notorious Tango spirit. It was at age of 19 that he was first exposed to the world of the Argentinean Tango. He learned the basics of tango and bandoneon with Efrain Scheinfeld, with whom he performed in Madrid and participated in “Homage to the Bandoneon” concert in Rishon Lezion, Israel. In Argentina he participated as a guest artist at an evening dedicated to Judaism and Tango that took place in the AMIA’s theater. In Spain he performed with Maestro Efrain Scheinfeld in Madrid. Shalev studied bandoneon with the masters Julio Pane and Rodolfo Daluisio, and studied Tango arranging with Rodolfo Mederos. Currently he is studying music with Dr. Bat Sheva Rubinstein. He also composes and arranges music. |

Born in Israel (1981). Shachar began to play the horn at the age of 9 under Alex Shneider at the Rehovot School of Music and later with Jacob Mishori and Alon Reuven. He graduated with honors from the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. Ziv studied composition with Isaac Steiner, Isaac Tamir and orchestra conducting at the Rubin Academy in Tel Aviv. He won the Braun Roger Zigel contest in Jerusalem, the Erez Linder contest in Rehovot and gained scholarships from the America-Israel Culture Fund in 1992. In 1997, at the EMF Festival of North Carolina, USA, Ziv won the Bloomfiled award. At the age of 14 he represented Israel in the Concert for Young Soloists in Tempra, Finland. This concert was broadcast through out Europe. Ziv performed as a soloist with the Talma Yelin Symphony Orchestra in Belgium and France as well as with the Young Philharmonic Orchestra , the Symphony Rishon Lezion and the Symphony Haifa. Ziv performed Kadish , Horn solo by Lev Kogan, in a Concert in Memory of the Children massacred in the Holocaust, in the Unesco Hall in Paris. He participated in the Apple Hill Festival of Chamber Music in New Hampshire, USA, as a horn, piano, cembalo player and singer. Currently, Ziv plays piano in Jazz ensembles, arranges, composes and performs as substitute player in the leading orchestras of Israel. |
